Furwise helps cat owners understand their cat's health and know what to do next. Owners across Asia, Europe and North America use it today. We're a small, fully remote team, and we're hiring.

What we're building

Cats hide illness well, and most owners notice a problem late. We want every cat owner to have help that knows their cat's history and knows cat medicine, any time they have a question.

  1. Easy to record

    Logging meals, weight, symptoms and medication takes seconds, and a photo of a lab report or vet document becomes a record.

  2. An agent that knows the cat

    The cat care AI agent in our app reads the cat's records alongside our research-based knowledge base, so its help fits that cat.

  3. Owners stay involved

    When the help is useful, owners keep recording, and the agent understands their cat a little better.

Today, cat owners use the Furwise iOS app with its built-in AI agent, and read our cat health guides in English, Traditional Chinese and Japanese. Our Android app is in internal testing.

How we work

Our work comes down to building the product, building the brand, and growing Furwise's reach. Here's how we do it.

  • Fully remote

    Work from wherever you do your best work. We ask for at least 4 hours of overlap with Taiwan time (UTC+8) on workdays.

  • English and Mandarin

    English is enough to join us. Mandarin is a plus, since the team uses both day to day.

  • A small team

    You'll work closely with everyone, including our designer and marketer.

  • Experienced people, for now

    We can't yet give a junior hire the mentoring they deserve. We're looking for people who have shipped products before and can take a problem from idea to launch on their own.

How hiring works

  1. Apply

    Send your résumé and a short answer to one question about the role. A cover letter is optional.

  2. Intro call

    30 minutes with the team, about what you've built and what you're looking for.

  3. Paid project

    A short task based on real work, about half a day. We pay you for your time.

  4. Final conversation

    We go through your project together, then talk about the offer.

The whole process usually takes two to four weeks. We read and reply to every application.
