I built Furwise. I've spent ten years writing software, and I have a cat of my own. After hitting enough bumps of my own along the way, I wanted to make something genuinely useful for cat owners. To get it right, I took a job at an animal hospital, looked after the cats staying there, and watched up close how vets work. All of that went into Furwise. I hope it makes your days with your cat a little easier.

You can upload a stool, facial or body photo. Furwise flags visible changes, references the Bristol Stool Scale and Feline Grimace Scale, and generates weekly and monthly recaps across your records. It's an observation tool, not a diagnosis.

I started building Furwise in 2025, after my cat Ah-Suan was diagnosed with feline lower urinary tract disease. I write every article myself, starting from veterinary clinical guidelines and peer-reviewed research, then adding what I see at the clinic. I'm not a veterinarian, so diagnosis and prescriptions stay with your vet.
