"How's your cat been eating and drinking lately?"

"When did you first notice something was off?"

Keep a quick note as you go, and you'll have the answers, so your vet has a clearer picture.

It all starts with what you log each day

Log the everyday care as a family. Chat answers from those records, the guides cover the questions every owner has, and the analysis spots changes over time.

01

Everyday care, logged in a tap

Furwise reminds you when meds, vaccines and checkups are due. Everything else takes a tap to log, and it all lands on one timeline the whole family shares.

02

Chat about them, big or small

“They’ve been eating less for two days. Should I worry?” “When was the last deworming?” Ask whenever it comes up. Chat looks through what you’ve logged, checks it against our guides, and answers for your cat in particular. The longer you keep records, the better it knows them.

03

A reliable answer for every cat question

Why your cat tears around the house at 3am, whether that vomiting is a problem, when it's actually time to see the vet. Furwise pulls together clear answers to the questions that come up, and every one is sourced.

Keep logging, and the patterns show

The more you record, the more Furwise helps you catch changes that are easy to miss, like your cat quietly drinking more. Snap a photo of their stool or expression for a second pair of eyes. It all helps you tell when it's time to see the vet. Diagnosis is for your vet.

Software engineer × vet assistant × cat owner

I built Furwise. I've spent ten years writing software, and I have a cat of my own. After hitting enough bumps of my own along the way, I wanted to make something genuinely useful for cat owners. To get it right, I took a job at an animal hospital, looked after the cats staying there, and watched up close how vets work. All of that went into Furwise. I hope it makes your days with your cat a little easier.

Common questions

Is Furwise free?

Yes. The free plan covers one cat, with daily records and a basic monthly quota for analysis and Chat. Furwise Pro adds multi-cat households and a higher monthly quota: US$6.99 a month or US$59.99 a year in the US App Store, with local pricing in other regions. A first monthly subscription also starts with a 7-day free trial.

How does family sharing work?

Invite family members with a single link. Everyone who joins sees the same records and can log new ones. Each cat keeps its own timeline.

Can I use Furwise for multiple cats?

Yes — Furwise is built specifically for multi-cat households. Each cat gets its own profile, records, reminders and analysis. Free plan covers one cat; Pro supports a whole multi-cat family.

What does the analysis actually cover?

You can upload a stool, facial or body photo. Furwise flags visible changes, references the Bristol Stool Scale and Feline Grimace Scale, and generates weekly and monthly recaps across your records. It's an observation tool, not a diagnosis.

Where can I get Furwise?

Furwise is free on the iOS App Store. Tap any download button on this page, or search "Furwise" on your iPhone or iPad.

Who makes Furwise?

Chi-Yu Wu. I'm a software engineer, and I also work part-time as an assistant at a veterinary clinic in Taipei. I started building Furwise in 2025, after my cat Ah-Suan was diagnosed with feline lower urinary tract disease. I write every article myself, starting from veterinary clinical guidelines and peer-reviewed research, then adding what I see at the clinic. Diagnosis and prescriptions stay with your vet.

Is there an Android version?

Furwise is on iOS only right now. The Android app is in internal testing. The Android button on this page takes your email, and I'll let you know when it ships.

How is Furwise different from a general pet tracker?

Every reminder has an article behind it that cites its sources. When a vaccination, deworming or routine blood panel is coming up, the reminder tells you, and you can read why it matters and how often it's needed. The records are built for multi-cat homes and for more than one caregiver: each cat keeps its own timeline, and family members who join see the same records.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. A first monthly subscription to Furwise Pro includes a 7-day free trial, and cancelling before it ends costs nothing. The annual plan has no free trial: it is US$39.99 for the first year, then US$59.99 a year.

What is Chat, and can I trust its answers?

Chat lets you ask about your own cat. It checks what you’ve logged first, like weight, medication and deworming, and when care knowledge is needed it draws on our guides. It doesn’t diagnose: if your cat seems unwell or the answer isn’t clear-cut, it will tell you to see your vet. Chat and analysis share one monthly quota. The free plan includes a basic quota, and Pro raises it.
